The Guardian Demon and the Lost Soul

Valerie in the citadel. Hiding from guards in corners and dark rooms, she meets a lost soul - apparently, this is the soul of a cat sacrificed by these crazy pagans. But the lost soul does not intend to help and Valerie receives an immediate recommendation to "get out of here, otherwise we will both be found."
The hero leaves the room where the lost soul was hiding and the door slammed shut with a crash. Suddenly, fast steps were heard at the end of the hallway. Damn it! Valerie is captured by the Guardian Demon and his fiery fellas. This demon seems to have once been a pet.
